Perform all duties related to the delivering and pick up of HME equipment, will ensure all safety and health guidelines are adhered to. Will make sure ODOT regulations are being followed.
1. Will be responsible for all scheduling of deliveries and pick ups of equipment.
2. Coordinates ongoing training activities for team members consistent with department and regulatory bodies guidelines.
3. Completes all required paperwork by the organization and regulatory bodies, FDA, ODOT, OSHA, JC, which includes but is not limited to: route sheets, Hazmats, analyzer logs, delivery tickets, and patient set up forms.
4. Performs daily vehicle inspections and complete logs, as required by OSHA. Maintains vehicle appearance and cleanliness. Reports any vehicle problems to the supervisor.
5. Adheres to the safety/infection control policies and procedures of the organization and reports potential safety/infection control issues. Equipment is bagged and tagged and identified on the vehicles as dirty or clean. Cleans equipment at patients homes or in the vans as appropriate.
6. Performs after hours and weekend on-call services on a rotation designated by the supervisor.
7. Demonstrates behavior consistent with the stated core values of CHP.
8. Protects confidentiality of information.
9. Is responsible to perform all other duties as assigned. Secondary responsibilities: Performed when patient demand fluctuates or when staffing shortages demands it.
10. Cleans and disinfects all home medical equipment.
11. Tests equipment, completes repairs, and maintains records on all equipment as required by the manufacturer.
12. Performs warehouse duties including: shipping, receiving, stocking, inventory counts, and maintaining a clean, orderly and safe work environment
Current valid driver's license in good standing.
High School Diploma or GED
Experience in Home Medical Equipment or related delivery experience that involved customer service preferred
Exerting 50-100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 lbs. frequently, and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are more than those for medium work.
