Upstream Operations Intern

As an Upstream Operations Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operational activities that keep our biotech processes running smoothly. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about biotech operations, quality control, supply chain logistics, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations team with day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient workflow and process adherence
  • Support inventory management, including tracking materials and supplies
  • Help coordinate with internal teams such as MS&T, Quality Assurance, and Engineering
  • Participate in documentation updates and reporting activities to maintain accurate operational records
  • Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and escalating them as needed
  • Support compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions to enhance your understanding of biotech operations

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Interest in biotech operations and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
