Cardiovascular/Atherosclerosis Product Launch Strategy Manager

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Develop launch strategy for a new product (in cardiovascular/atherosclerosis area) based on physician and patient insights and analysis of increasingly diverse customer and market needs
  • Plan/manage brand P&L by effectively allocating resources to maximize the value of the brands for short-/mid-term and the lifecycle
  • Design and execute promotional plans that effectively and efficiently increase perceived product value across multiple channels in line with the marketing strategy
  • Understand the market environment and develop/manage appropriate expense management and sales forecasts to drive product value
  • Set appropriate KPIs for business success, track and analyze performance, and identify issues
  • Project management to build consensus and resolve issues across cross-functional stakeholders including global/regional counterparts and support groups
  • Develop and manage relationships with key opinion leaders and academic societies, and obtain professional input from them
  • Develop branded/unbranded materials and tools used for effective promotion aligned with global marketing strategy as one of the Early Launch Markets (ELM) and collaborate/manage external agencies efficiently and effectively while improving workflows
  • Work with sales leaders to validate sales plans and identify issues through discussion of strategy and tactics, and implement effective countermeasures
  • Prepare materials and presentations for senior management proposals
  • Ensure managing compliance and minimizing compliance risks from the company-wide perspectives

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Patient-centric mindset and strong commitment to the product’s value
  • Ability to construct logical arguments from a multi-faceted perspective
  • Problem-identification and -solving skills based on flexible, strategic, creative/out-of-box thinking rather than solely relying on past experience
  • Team player with cooperation, responsibility, and leadership to achieve team goals
  • High ethical standards and strong compliance awareness
  • Learning agility: ability to adapt to change and continuously learn and grow
  • English communication and documentation skills (for collaboration with global teams and communication with senior management)
  • Practical marketing experience (preferably in cardiovascular/atherosclerosis areas, or in primary care/chronic disease areas)

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams composed of members from multiple departments, to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize
  • Demonstrates the ability to derive optimum solutions by conducting hypothesis testing/data analysis from mid-long term holistic perspectives based on potential customer needs and future product trends predicted from obtained information and insights (Data driven decision making)
  • Exhibits extensive launch knowledge/experience and demonstrates leadership in leading an efficient launch project (launch excellence)
  • Fluent English communication skills and experience working in teams composed of multinational/culturally diverse members
