HR Intern

The successful applicant will join a dynamic HR Team and will be accountable for the smooth execution of all appropriate administrative functions associated with the Site HR Team. In addition, the role offers many opportunities to gain wider HR experience working on various site projects and initiatives as well as being a part of the All-Ireland HR Team as we have a number of sites across the country. This is an ideal role for someone early in their HR career who is ambitious and looking to develop.

You will be part of a diverse and inclusive, multi-skilled global team of highly motivated individuals. We keep the patient at the very heart of all that we do and strive to find solutions and treatments for some of the world's most challenging healthcare needs.

So, what will you be responsible for?

  • Bringing energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:
  • Point of Contact for Time & Attendance system (Kronos), including updating, maintaining and terminating employee profiles.
  • Update & manage HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Support People Managers across site.
  • Participate in various projects on & above site.
  • Preparation of monthly HR statistics and metrics.
  • Support HRBPs on day to day generalist HR activities and queries.
  • Administration of HR information systems (Workday) including changes and revisions and preparation of reports.
  • Interpret, implement and answer queries related to HR processes & procedures ensuring consistency and reinforcing adherence.
  • Contributing to the business unit goals and objectives.
  • Create and Manage HR Purchase Orders & invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP and other business compliance regulations.

The ideal person will have:

  • Working towards a Degree or 3rd level qualification (Business or Human Resources related)
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Possess a positive & can-do attitude.
  • Takes ownership for his/her work and continuously displays good initiative.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in a team environment, such as project teams etc.
  • Strong PC skills such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage workload, prioritize activities and close out all tasks in a timely manner.
