Facilities Engineer

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Engineer at Dunboyne. They will support operations of Site Facilities Services. They will be involved with providers in areas including Security, GMP and Non-GMP Cleaning, Waste Management, Catering, Building and Fabric maintenance. The Facilities Engineer will be involved working closely with safety and quality assurance to ensure compliance and efficiency in the day to day running of site facilities.

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of assigned site activities including short and long-term business priorities and objectives through regular communication with other functions.
  • Ensure cGMP compliance adherence, participate in audit/inspection preparation and be responsible owning and creating Facilities SOPs, supporting deviations & CAPA's.
  • Manage and enhance KPI's related to Facilities management to achieve focused area targets.
  • As necessary, conducts or directs training activity for the team, including but not limited to, SOPs, skill qualifications, safety, quality and other related communications.
  • Notifies and escalates issues needing resolution in a timely fashion.
  • Collaborates effectively in a various cross functional workstreams to ensure operational support and adapting working models as necessary.
  • Ensure EHS compliance adherence, participate in audit/inspection preparation and be responsible owning and creating Facilities SOPs, supporting deviations & CAPA's.
  • Improve Waste management activities by implementing KPIs and waste reduction initiatives aligned with sustainability goals.

What skills you will need:

  • Knowledge of and experience in applying Problem Solving and Lean methodologies to prevent re-occurring issues, develop effective and efficient operating models.
  • Compliance auditing / Inspection experience including regulatory agency such as HSA, HPRA and internal audits.
  • Change management skills with a continuous improvement focus.
  • Understanding of key facilities management requirements to ensure compliance with all EHS standards including our SN's and the QMS.
  • Ability to Present at relevant forum. E.g. monthly scorecard reviews, business improvement meeting.
  • The candidate should ideally possess a third level qualification in Engineering, Facilities or science-related discipline.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required, ability to interact professionally with all staff, both up and down the organization.
  • Knowledge of computerized systems (SAP) and documentation practices.
  • Some Demonstrated experience in Biologics, pharmaceutical and/or chemical manufacturing operation (e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, etc.).
