Internship Opportunity In Biotechnology Solutions

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Animal Health Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

This 12-week internship is an excellent opportunity to join our Biotechnology Solutions (BTS) - Site Support team.

The primary focus of this team is to provide direct technical support to the Operations teams at our De Soto, Kansas Animal Health Manufacturing Facility.

Processes supported include bacterial fermentations and cell culture in both stainless steel bioreactors and single use technology platforms. Primary activities for the team include process optimization, yield optimization, deviation investigation technical support, root cause investigations, and raw material characterization.

Education Requirements:

  • Major area of study should be Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar.

Preferred Experience:

  • Basic lab skills, experience working with standard lab instruments.

Salary range: The salary range for this role is $39,600.00-$105,500.00 USD.
