The Account Manager will be responsible to assist the operational team to deliver excellent and safer performance in the cargo service functions at a high-volume international airport. You'll put our people, our customers – and their customers, at the heart of everything you do.

The main accountabilities include: implementing Menzies Aviation policies and procedures as laid down in the Eight Pillars of Management; ensuring service delivery to customer airlines is according to the airline contacts, and within the agreed budget level; ensuring safety and security procedures are performed according to the Menzies Health & Safety regulations, and according to international aviation standards; monitoring performance, taking action to correct any shortfalls; liaising with airline station managers, airport operations staff, handling agents, customs, immigration, and security officials, and other airport stakeholders; providing reports as required, and service delivery measurements; providing leadership to the management team, developing their skills; working shifts as required by the business; other duties as assigned; reporting any significant deficiency in our products, materials and documents; having the duty to suggest any improvements to working practices, especially those relating to safety and security; and following all security procedures as required.

Qualifications and experience include: financial management skills awareness; ability to communicate effectively with senior level personnel; ability to work with a multinational work force, and to adjust to the local conditions of the station; working knowledge of the IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreement; aptitude to develop the supervisory team, provide succession planning, and re-engineer business processes as demanded by changes in the business; ability to support other stations as required and ensure own station responsibilities are covered with on leave; cargo handling experience at a high-volume international airport; excellent knowledge of cargo/ramp GSE; high school graduate; must possess a valid State Driver's License; and must pass all pred-employment background and a drug test.
