Role Overview
In this role, the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will work as a Surgical Float to support the inpatient orthopedic oncology surgical service as well as the urology oncology surgical service. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and be the driving force behind patient-centered care. Key Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited PA program
- NCCPA certification
- Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience is preferred
- BLS certification/ACLS certification
OR
- Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations RN-First Assist certification
- Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
- Related National NP certification
- Minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience is preferred
- BLS certification/ACLS certification

Location: Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY
Hours: 12 hour shifts, 13 shifts per 4-week block, weekend and holiday coverage
Pay Range: $155,500-$197,400
Reporting to: Associate Director, APP
