Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative for the APAC region, you'll play a vital role in executing Megaport's inbound and outbound sales strategies to support the continued growth and scale of our business across Asia Pacific. You'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, qualifying inbound leads and generating new opportunities through targeted outbound outreach. You'll also contribute to building and refining sales processes, bringing creativity and energy to a high-performing regional team. While we are open to flexibility in location across the APAC region, this role is ideally based in hybrid arrangement at our Brisbane Headquarters.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment and is passionate about building a career in tech sales. The ideal candidate is:

  • Action-oriented and highly organized, with a strong sense of ownership and adaptability.
  • Self-motivated and driven, comfortable operating in ambiguity and solving problems independently.
  • Excellent at time management, balancing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Clear and engaging in communication, both written and verbal, with a professional on-screen presence.
  • Collaborative and customer-focused, eager to build meaningful relationships with both prospects and teammates.
  • Always learning, with a growth mindset and openness to feedback.
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth company with a "roll up your sleeves" mentality.

Preferred but not required:

  • 1+ years of experience in a B2B sales development (SDR/BDR/ADR) role.
  • Exposure to SaaS, cloud, or networking technologies.
  • Background in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
  • This is an English-speaking role, but if you're also fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese or Japanese, that is a big plus!

You'll report into Megaport's Global Sales Development Leader as part of the GTM Transformation team and work closely with APAC Sales Executives, Solution Architects, Marketing, and RevOps. You'll be embedded in a high-energy, collaborative environment focused on growth, customer value, and innovation.

This is an individual contributor role with compensation tied to performance.
