The role involves contributing to design, develop, test and document complex software components related to ACM products. Candidates should bring strong expertise in C#, WPF. The individual will operate in all phases of software development and contribute to all activities of the software development process. The candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced, multitasking team environment. The Senior Engineer frequently interacts with Tech Lead, other developers, V&V engineers, internal partners and stakeholders concerning estimations, design, implementation or requirement clarifications, works closely with global sites. Identify and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Read, analyze, understand product requirements.
• Actively participate in story grooming.
• Participate in design documentation and reviews.
• Design and develop the features assigned with highest quality.
• Learn and understand software standards for medical devices.
• Under general direction and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
• Mentor the juniors.
• Interact with Tech Lead, other developers, V&V engineers, internal partners and stakeholders concerning design, implementation or requirement clarifications, and work closely with global sites.

Required knowledge and experience:

• 8+ years of industry experience in Software Desktop Development
• Proficiency with one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, WPF
• Proficiency in one or more of the following tools: Visual Studio, Git, Perforce
• Experience in Windows is mandatory
• Experience with software unit testing and continuous integration implementations.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methods.
• Good logical and reasoning skills
• Ability to work on cross-functional project teams comprised of software verification and development engineers, system engineers, human factor engineers and quality engineers.
• Strong written and verbal communication. Minimum Qualification Required: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Sciences, Biotechnology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred: Masters in Engineering or master's in technology computer sciences, Biotechnology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Nice to Haves: Design/develop experience working with regulated medical devices. Experience working within a regulated environment. Experience with software version control tools. Quality focus, willingness to learn, versatility and adaptability.
