Responsibilities Include

  • Regional sales responsibility
  • Providing sales forecasts and creating sales analyses
  • Increasing sales and market share and conducting regular territory reviews with the sales manager
  • Customer care and new customer acquisition in electrophysiology and building sustainable customer relationships with all stakeholders in the clinic
  • Conducting all sales-related activities from initial contact through product presentation including health economic calculations, to negotiation, to closing and successful implementation of the therapy with the customer
  • Operating room accompaniment and application advice and training of doctors and operating room staff
  • Organizing and conducting continuing education events, and active participation in regional referral events and conferences
  • Developing, coordinating, and implementing a customer-specific sales strategy taking into account the respective market conditions in coordination with the sales manager, as well as implementing marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Collecting and reporting all hospital, market, and competitive information as well as trends and developments comprehensively, completely, and promptly to the management
  • Developing networks in the healthcare sector with the goal of further establishing Medtronic therapies in atrial fibrillation
  • Cross-business cooperation with all business areas of Medtronic

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Completed education or degree in the medical, natural sciences, or business administration field
  • Good understanding of the hospital environment
  • Technical understanding and good IT skills
  • Independent, self-responsible thinking and acting as well as responsibility, reliability, and commitment
  • Enthusiasm, persuasiveness, and negotiation skills
  • High willingness to learn and deploy, flexibility, and resilience
  • Friendly and open demeanor as well as high service readiness and strong engagement
  • Excellent communication skills as well as presentation skills, and fluent German and English spoken and written
  • Driver’s license available

Previous experience as a sales, marketing, or therapy specialist is advantageous.
