Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provides technical support to engineers to achieve improvements in cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance of production and operations processes and products.
  • Monitors instruments and equipment and collects operating data, including calibration, inspection, testing and repair activities, to assist in making on-line adjustments to instruments, equipment, or products.
  • Analyzes and resolves malfunctions and deviations of instruments and control systems to identify and resolve problems.
  • Conducts, analyses and prepares reports using metrics from salvage tracking, trending, reporting and root-cause analyses.
  • Maintains process designs to optimize process, equipment and facility use while conforming to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Perform pre-production testing of software, products, and process updates.
  • Proposes software coding solutions that increase efficiency in manufacturing model and print creation.
  • Execute Validation scripts for software updates.
  • Provide technical support to engineering, and project team, in the development of future automation and systems.
  • Utilize technical resources for software and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Provide work instruction red lines for process improvements associated with manufacturing software.
  • Assist with CAPA activities for root cause investigation, actions for resolution, and effectiveness.
  • Assist as part of the manufacturing line using Solidworks and SAP when demand exceeds normal capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formatting and functional equations.
  • Experience with programming languages such as VBA and C++.
  • Certified Yellow Belt in Lean methodology; knowledgeable in DMAIC problem-solving processes.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks, including SolidWorks API and development of SolidWorks Add-ins.
  • Experience using SAP.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Requires high school diploma, or equivalent.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $44,000.00 - $66,000.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
