As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for establishing, developing and expanding Employer Group, Broker, and TPA relationships following the organization's mission and vision.
This position reaches out to new and existing self-funded groups to help them reduce their medical spending, working with TPA's, Broker channels and Captives throughout the corporate benefits arena. The Sales Director needs to be an expert on self-funding, reference-based pricing, captives, and cost containment to reduce costs and deliver a high-performance health plan.
This position will design and execute the Company's go-to-market strategy in their region, reporting to the VP of Sales. The position will be responsible for the recruitment, training, and management of brokers as well as developing and executing territory cross-selling development strategies. The Sales Director will also work closely with the product team to provide product and pricing feedback to shape the company's future offerings and initiatives.

Education and/or Experience
BS/BA and 11+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 8 years of SME in respective areas
Computer Skills
Strong proficiency with MS Office / Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio and Outlook to create complex documents, manage schedules, and analyze data.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Work Location
This position works on-site at the Tempe, Arizona location (or from a remote location with management approval based on business requirements). Must provide adequate support to internal clients; be available for regular interactions and coordination of work with other employees, colleagues, clients, or vendors; as well as be available to facilitate effective decisions through collaboration with stakeholders.
Working Hours
This is an exempt level position requiring the incumbent to work the hours required to fully accomplish job responsibilities and reasonable meet deadlines for work deliverables. The individual must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required. Work hours may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business. Typical core business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

This position requires domestic travel of up to 50% of the time.
