We're looking for a strong technical leader to oversee the development, support, and evolution of Medavie's core applications. The Manager, Application Development & Operations leads a team of technology professionals responsible for delivering, supporting, and evolving Medavie's core applications. This role blends people leadership, product ownership, and hands-on engagement with complex systems. You'll guide the development and operation of enterprise-level applications, ensure stability and performance, and collaborate closely with business partners to align technology solutions with organizational goals. Success in this role requires strong technical acumen, experience managing diverse development teams, and the ability to drive both day-to-day operations and long-term product strategy.
Education: University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience & Skills:
Language: English proficiency; Bilingual is an asset.
Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B). This includes Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
