The hours for this position will vary based on blood drives with hours starting very early in the morning to later in the evenings with also weekends. More will be discussed in the interview. The ideal candidate will have a CDL and previous bus driving experience.

Operates State Vehicles according to state law and fleet management guidelines while performing any required Donor Operations Processes according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Remains knowledgeable of all vehicle laws and fleet management policies, procedures and protocols.
• Reports any adverse events involving a vehicle or customer according to SOP and institutional policy.
• Adheres to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
Maintains donor vehicles, processing equipment and supplies.
• Performs inventories and provides timely information on supplies and reagents.
• Troubleshoots vehicles, donor equipment, reporting problems and documenting as required.
• Participates in the evaluation of new equipment providing timely information.
• Maintains vehicles and supply areas neat and orderly while preventing waste.
Manages all customer service interactions with diplomacy, actively facilitating resolutions to problems and addressing the needs of clients both internal and external.
• Embraces the roles and responsibilities of the Customer Service Program.
• Ensures all encounters, verbal, written and silent (body language), with internal and external customers are professional and respectful.
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of Class A or B commercial driving experience. Class A or B current Texas Commercial Driver License (CDL). Good driving record as verified with the Texas Department of Transportation. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
This position may be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code and therefore may require routine reviews and screening. The ability to satisfy and maintain all requirements necessary to ensure the continued security and integrity of such infrastructure is a condition of hire and continued employment.
