The Marketing Technology Solutions team at McKesson Canada is responsible for planning and implementing projects and events to position McKesson as a pharmacy technology leader in Canada and an automation solutions leader in the US market. The Associate Marketing Specialist Intern is a marketing generalist role that will provide exposure to various aspects of the greater marketing function within Technology Solutions, as well as healthcare technology marketing across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Execute against a centralized marketing calendar to include digital marketing, social media and email campaigns, contributing to their full life cycle, including creative/copy development, data segmentation, and reporting/analysis.
  • Develop engaging content for sales enablement assets such as brochures, videos, webinars, articles and similar.
  • Create compelling social media posts and digital content to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience (primarily focused on LinkedIn).
  • Assist in trade show marketing and/or event support, including possible on-site support during events.
  • Ensure marketing and communications deliverables adhere to brand guidelines, enabling consistent brand delivery.
  • Deliver high quality content through a variety of channels, translating IT terms into easy-to-understand general concepts for customers; simplify the complex into clear, concise, engaging communications without losing key ideas and messages.
  • Build creative solutions that drive demand, bringing fresh ideas into product positioning and marketing campaigns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support McKesson Canada.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The candidate must be fully bilingual at a high level in French/English (mandatory - speaking and writing), as they must be able to write marketing copy that will resonate in Québec, English Canada and the United States.
  • Strong storyteller with the ability to create compelling narratives, in various formats, including video, in support of our business and product strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Graphic design experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop is an asset.
  • Familiarity with social media management and digital marketing tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment is an asset.

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Québec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

$16.56 - $26.41
