McKesson is seeking a Senior Service Level Analyst. The SL Analyst serves as the primary liaison for key customers and both internal and external stakeholders. This role is responsible for fulfilling daily inventory requirements and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements and lead strategic initiatives that optimize McKesson's inventory investments while enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis related to account performance and service level management. Mediate and resolve customer omit issues, and leverage proprietary tools (e.g., SCORE/Kinaxis) to forecast sales trends and proactively address service disruptions.
  • Deliver advanced reporting and data analysis using SAP Business Intelligence tools, interpreting complex contractual agreements—including customer formularies, item coding, and advanced variables—to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-volume, high-profile strategic accounts with minimal managerial oversight. Manage complex issues involving reporting, omit resolution, and forecast trending. Oversee customer, segment, and internal inventory programs, including process development and implementation.
  • Lead and manage projects by defining scope, assigning tasks, and taking full ownership of outcomes. Ensure timely delivery of assigned project milestones with minimal guidance from management.
  • Evaluate existing processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, cost savings, and improved customer satisfaction. Recommend, test, and implement enhancements as appropriate to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members and clients to support skill development, knowledge sharing, and overall team effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage advanced, standardized, and ad-hoc reporting and analysis by accessing and integrating data from multiple sources. Build reports using multiple data sets with simple variables and manage outputs from complex reports. Utilize Microsoft Office tools—including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint—for data visualization, chart creation, and presentation development. Support basic Business Objects query development.

Education & Minimum Requirements:

  • A 4-year degree in Supply Chain, related quantitative or health care related field is preferred.
  • Degree in related field is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills:

  • Customer & Demand Management: Proven experience in managing customer relationships, demand planning, and service level expectations.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex issues and develop actionable solutions.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficiency in analyzing large amounts of data to identify trends and insights; experience with tools such as Excel, Access, and Business Objects.
  • Process Improvement: Ability to evaluate current processes and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, or improve customer satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Skilled in leading projects, defining scope, assigning tasks, and delivering results with minimal oversight.
  • Communication: Effective communicator with the ability to mediate issues, present findings, and train both internal teams and clients.

Additional Skills & Knowledge:

  • Database & Querying: Basic knowledge of SQL, Business Objects query development, and Power BI.
  • Performance Metrics: Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and other performance indicators.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Training & Mentorship: Experience providing guidance and training to peers and clients to support skill development and knowledge transfer.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations using PowerPoint and data visualizations.

Working Environment:

This role is a hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Irving Office, a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities. Our preferred candidate must live within a 50-mile radius of our Irving Office.

  • Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted – This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
  • Hybrid work environment with both remote work and required in-office presence as needed.
  • Ability to travel 5% of the time to attend and assist with large meetings and/or events.
  • Occasional overtime may be required to meet business needs.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position $91,400 - $152,300
