Position Responsibilities

This position supports customer service, technical support, and customer sales interactions. This role requires you to interact with customers across the country to resolve support issues, sell new products and services, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience. In addition to being the best in the business regarding customer interactions, you must be confident, fully engaged, a team player, and dedicated to bringing a positive and enthusiastic outlook to work each day.

Key responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions with professionalism and courtesy
  • Listen actively to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions
  • Research and resolve issues using internal systems and cross-functional collaboration
  • Follow client-specific procedures and maintain a high standard of service
  • Accurately document customer interactions and manage accounts
  • Use tools and technology to complete tasks efficiently
  • Adhere to scripts, policies, and confidentiality guidelines
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary
  • Ensure first-call resolution through effective problem-solving
  • Stay current with training, updates, and process changes
  • Meet attendance and scheduling expectations

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Typing speed of 20+ WPM
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Ability to troubleshoot and follow up on customer issues
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-first mindset: empathetic, patient, and responsive
  • Ability to multitask, stay focused, and work independently
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Preferred (not required):

  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, sales, tech support, or administrative roles
  • Experience in a contact center or government-related work

Physical Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
