Upon your arrival, you will join our Tech4Value - Data & AI team at Forvis Mazars, consisting of more than 60 data specialists. We cover the entire data value chain: Data Strategy and qualification of use cases, Data Governance and data quality, Data Visualization, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Data Architecture. Our story begins with a small team dedicated to Paris Levallois-Perret, which has rapidly expanded to New York, reflecting our growth and international ambition. We firmly believe that Data Engineering is the cornerstone of this industry, and we mobilize a rich and varied technology stack to serve our clients.

After a phase of training in our methods and tools, you will work on strategic projects for CAC40 and SBF120 clients, in France and internationally. Your main missions will be divided into two parts:

1. Technology Migration (Strategic SAS → R Project)

• Analysis and Mapping :

  • Inventory and map all SAS scripts (volume, complexity, interdependencies)
  • Identify the SAS procedures used and analyze current performance
  • Define the priorities for migrating critical scripts

• Design and Migration :

  • Define the target architecture and select appropriate R packages
  • Translate SAS scripts progressively into R code (DATA steps, PROC SQL, macros, statistical analyses)
  • Develop reusable R functions and optimize performance

• Testing and Validation :

  • Compare R results systematically with SAS on reference datasets
  • Test performance and document acceptable deviations

2. Data Engineering & Data Valorization

• Develop end-to-end data pipelines (extraction, transformation, consumption via API, BI/visualization)
• Participate in improving the operational performance of clients through business use cases (strategy, marketing, finance, CSR, etc.)
• Implement continuous deployments in various environments:
  • Public Cloud (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, GCP Functions, Kubernetes)
  • Private Cloud (OpenNebula, CloudStack, CephFS)

Student at the end of a Bac+5 course (engineering school, university, or equivalent) with a specialization in data, statistics, or computer science.

Strong interest in system migration, code optimization, and data-oriented application development.

Essential Technical Skills

• SAS : SAS Base, SAS/STAT, SAS macros, PROC SQL
• R : tidyverse (dplyr, tidyr), data.table, data manipulation, statistical packages
• Programming : development of R functions, code optimization
• Linux : command line, bash scripts
• Version Control : Git/GitLab
