✨ About The Role

- The Field Autonomy Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and developing the on-site configuration and deployment of autonomous technology in new locations - This role involves scouting locations to identify and resolve technical challenges associated with specific traffic environments - The FAE will act as a technical company representative to customers and the general public, coordinating and performing demonstrations of the autonomous technology - Collaboration with Engineers across the organization to identify and develop features to expand system capability and improve the rider experience is a key aspect of this role - Continuous updates and incorporation of lessons learned from past projects into documentation to codify organizational knowledge is expected

âš¡ Requirements

- Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics Engineering, or Computer Engineering - Must have familiarity with basic principles of mobile robotics and demonstrated hands-on experience in designing and implementing mechanical and electrical hardware - Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for this role - Ability to travel up to 50% is required, along with a valid U.S./Japanese driver’s license and clean driving record - MECE thinking skills are crucial for analyzing traffic conditions and troubleshooting integration software and hardware issues
