Job Description
Make a difference by joining a dynamic team dedicated to supporting the U.S. Army's evolving training and operational frameworks. As a Training Developer, you will employ your extensive experience as an Electromagnetic Warfare Soldier to develop, plan, and deliver critical training documentation and activities that directly influence capability readiness within the Army.
Working remotely, this role demands a highly motivated self-starter who thrives on independent work and collaboration with diverse Army commands such as the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and Army Futures Command (AFC). You will plan, execute, and report on Soldier Touch Points, Technical Exchange Meetings, and After-Action Reviews, ensuring training content aligns with the highest operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive US Army Training Support Packages (TSPs) for programs of record with specific focus on:
- New Equipment Training (NET)
- New Equipment Fielding (NEF)
- Training Curriculum development and updates
- Collaborate with TRADOC and AFC to create requirements documentation and supporting packages
- Plan, coordinate, and report results for Soldier Touch Points, Technical Exchange Meetings, and After-Action Reviews
- Ensure training materials and documentation meet doctrinal and operational standards
- Utilize Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA for documentation, workflow, and project management
- Provide expert advice on training frameworks, continuously improving processes and content for maximum efficiency and relevance
Qualifications
Education & Certification
- Master's Degree in a relevant discipline OR equivalent years of direct experience
Clearance
- Top Secret/SCI clearance required
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a US Army Electromagnetic Warfare Soldier
- Extensive background working with TRADOC and/or Army Futures Command on training development and requirement documentation
- Proven experience producing Army Training Support Packages (TSPs) supporting NET, NEF, and curriculum development
- Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and report on Soldier Touch Points, Technical Exchange Meetings, and After-Action Reviews
- Experience working with government/military contract environments is highly desirable
Skills
- Proficient in using Atlassian toolsets, specifically Confluence and JIRA for collaborative documentation and project tracking
- Strong knowledge of Army training doctrine, procedures, and curriculum development processes
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and documentation creation
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing time and deliverables effectively
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
