Role Summary

Work on installations, deployments and software release upgrades for telecommunication network nodes. Manage validations and escalations and provide RCA and bug fixes for issues during integration and operation phase. Provide trainings and guidelines to cellular operators and different teams. Provide network operation integration and work with cross-functional teams. Provide subject matter expertise on Mavenir Cloud Based Messaging products. Provide telecommunication network operation planning and design. Create and execute the customer network acceptance test plans. Create telecommunication engineering message call flow diagrams and protocol sequence for different Mavenir cloud native products, including MCO, SMSF, IPSM, XA, XMS, and XAG.

Key Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience with different cloud related operations for installation and deployment of 3GPP, 4G, or 5G messaging solution application nodes in cloud.

Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

  • Cloud and Virtualization concepts, and network security aspects
  • Kubernetes for software deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
  • Telecommunication network solution design, including creating networks diagrams and creating call flow diagrams with respect to large scale messaging deployments
  • Implementation in at least one of the following: SMSF, IPSMGW, SMSC, or MMSC in a hybrid, virtualized or cloud environment, using 3GPP based Telecom Messaging flows and protocols
  • 5G Messaging Protocols including at least one of the following: HTTP2, N21, N20, or Lawful Interception (X1/X2/X3)
  • Database storage technologies and solutions for telecommunications
  • Test plan preparation, execution and software defects tracking for RCA and closure
  • Transaction Logs (TRLs), Call-Trace, Wireshark traces, and application logs
  • Shell scripting to prepare automation tools and scripts for testing and debugging different call flows in messaging solutions

Will accept a Master's degree plus two (2) years of experience with different cloud related operations for installation and deployment of 3GPP, 4G, or 5G messaging solution application nodes in cloud in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm
