Therapeutic Support Specialist

BHN is currently seeking a Therapeutic Support Specialist to join our Community Wraparound program, providing high-quality services to children and families in their homes and communities.

Pay: $21 - $24 per hour

What You\'ll Do:

  • Help youth and families build skills, access resources, and navigate behavioral health needs while maintaining stability in the community.
  • Provide in-home and community-based services at least twice per week or as clinically indicated.
  • Deliver skills training, safety planning, and crisis support to youth and families.
  • Facilitate family-centered treatment planning and support effective decision-making.
  • Help strengthen family dynamics through communication, problem-solving, and skill-building activities.
  • Support youth in building independent living skills, resilience, and coping strategies.
  • Provide care coordination and referrals to community-based services and resources.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and treatment planning in line with program standards.

Who You Are:

  • Associate\'s degree in a Human Services-related field required; Bachelor\'s degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the human services field required.
  • Experience working with children and families required.
  • Knowledge of mental illness, coping strategies, and behavioral modification techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with community resources and child-serving systems.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations with cultural competence.
  • Valid Massachusetts driver\'s license and reliable vehicle required.
  • Comfortable with word processing, email, and documentation systems.
