This temporary position will provide general and specialized support to the Department of Global and Integrated Studies (DIGS) Department Head and Director of Financial Operations for the Global School. Responsibilities include financial operations support and department administrative support. Financial operations support includes assisting with expense report review, setting up new hires and payments, assisting with producing financial reports, and assisting with collecting data and communicating details around COBLA payments. Department administrative support includes preparing, filing, and maintaining confidential documents, assisting in scheduling and providing Zoom links for meetings, providing note-taking functions for department meetings, providing support for organizing departmental meetings and events, organizing and processing course books and library book orders, maintaining and updating the DIGS website, announcements and displays, room booking for PQPs and maintaining the calendar for 1-2 conference rooms in the project center, overseeing office equipment use and maintaining supplies, and ensuring the delivery of incoming and outgoing mail. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years experience in an office setting, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and various related programs. Desired familiarity with Workday Finance suite.
