Swimming Pool Servicer

Temporary/full-time positions with High Sierra Pools, Inc from 4/1/26 through 10/31/26. Perform cleaning and maintenance duties at commercial swimming pools to ensure safe and sanitary conditions for patrons. Assist with opening/closing of pools. Install/remove pool covers and store/organize pool furniture/equipment. Operate and maintain pool cleaning equipment. Inspect pool surfaces for damage and perform minor repairs. Test and adjust water chemical levels, turn on filter system, and check pool for leaks. Winterize pool facilities. Notify managers concerning the need for repairs. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Outdoor work in all types of weather conditions and exposure to pool chemicals. Employer paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers post-hire upon suspicion of use and post-accident. Must obtain CPO certification. Drivers license (U.S. or International) required. Must be 18 years or older. On-the-job training will be provided to worker. Employer pays in advance or reimburses workers in first workweek for all government-mandated and visa-related fees (excluding passport fees). For non-local workers (i.e., residing outside normal commuting distance), employer arranges and pays directly or reimburses for inbound travel costs no later than upon completion of 1st half of the contract (50 percent point). Inbound travel includes transport costs from workers permanent residence or place of recruitment to place of employment, a daily subsistence for meals, and reasonable lodging costs, if applicable. Subsistence reimbursements based on rates specified in Federal Register (currently $16.28/day min., or $68.00/day max. for workers with acceptable receipts). Transport reimbursements based on workers actual cost, not to exceed the most economical common carrier transportation costs for distances involved. Employer provides or pays outbound travel costs to same workers upon completion of contract period or early dismissal, except where worker has subsequent employment. Employer guarantees to offer hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of total contract period, beginning with first workday after the worker arrives at the place of employment and ending on contract end date or any extension thereof. Employer may count all hours worked, as well as any hours offered within standard work schedule that worker chooses to not work, up to max # of daily hours on job order. Workers who voluntarily abandon employment are not entitled to payment for outbound travel costs or the full three-fourths period guarantee described above. Employer will provide without charge all tools, supplies and equipment (incl uniform, if appl) necessary to perform duties assigned. If requested, employer assists non-local workers to secure worker-paid lodging. Worksite: 300 2nd Ave, Needham, MA 02494 and multiple worksites within Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, Suffolk, and Worcester counties. Employer will offer daily transport to/from the worksite from a centralized designated pick-up place at no cost to workers. Use of transport is voluntary. Employer provides incidental transport btwn job sites. Such transport complies with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws/regs. Wage is no less than $21.75/hour. Overtime hours vary at $32.63/hour. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in specified occupation, at companys sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Payroll period is bi-weekly. Workers are paid by check on Mon. Standard work schedule is Mon through Fri from 9 am to 5 pm. Employer will offer 40 hours/week. Employer may offer more than stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
