Raytheon Technologies Corporate Headquarters is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Identity & Access Management team as a Multifactor Authentication (MFA) Senior Engineer. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening our multifactor authentication solutions to ensure stable, scalable, and reliable services to the enterprise and our customers. This position will require a strong understanding of technologies, processes and data in the Identity & Access Management vertical. The candidate must demonstrate excellent technical expertise to execute product requirements. Candidate will need to work with stakeholders to continuously improve the organization's MFA capabilities and develop a best in breed solution.
What You Will Do:
- Provide support for a variety of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) tools such as Gemalto MobilePASS, Secret Double Octopus, and new emerging technologies.
- Lead design and development projects to effectively implement and integrate access management technologies.
- Contribute to access management roadmap; including demand prioritization, vendor product selection and project delivery.
- Develop operational model and provide day-to-day operations oversight for each access management technologies deployed.
- Establish, maintain, and report operational metrics regarding the health and effectiveness of the MFA environment.
- Provide expertise and understanding of the authentication and privileged access landscape working with teams across the organization to design, engineer and expand the service footprint.
- Understand and work with the team to resolve technical and non-technical problems.
- Participate in production support for any Sev1/Sev2 incidents.
- Provide oversight of monitoring, patching, log management, configuration management and related processes.
- Develop documentation, workflow diagrams, and assist with the creation of test scripts.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
- Serve as MFA subject matter expert guiding team on best practices.
- Significant operational experience with one or more of the following technologies: Secret Double Octopus, LDAP, Active Directory (multi-forest experience a plus).
- Prior experience implementing or supporting MFA products in complex environments.
- Strong working knowledge of authentication protocols including oAuth, SAML, Radius, TACACS, Digital certificates, Kerberos, OpenID, FIDO & Biometrics.
- Familiarity with SQL and No-SQL data stores and understanding of their applications; SQL query language familiarity is a plus.
- Strong communication and analytical skills to be able to deduce system requirements and troubleshoot issues.
- LINUX server administrator experience with ability to develop maintenance scripts.
- Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture on internal infrastructure and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Good understanding of IAM principles, IT security needs, and dev ops processes.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills that are relatable to all levels.
- API coding experience using Postman, PowerShell, and Python.
- Adaptability and multi-tasking; experience working in a fast moving environment.
