As a member of the OCI Oracle Hardware Development team, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
We are seeking candidates with 3+ years of extensive experience in Python test automation.
Collaborate closely with the Quality Engineering team to design, develop, and maintain automated test cases and test suites
Regularly maintain and update existing test cases and suites to accommodate platform enhancements and changes
Stay up-to-date with changes in technology and hardware to create effective test cases
Execute test suites on platforms under test, analyze test failures, identify and report code and platform bugs, and update tests accordingly
Release cycles are short; the ideal candidate must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment where rapid turnaround is crucial to success
Experience with rack servers, compute storage, PCIe devices, and lab networking
Experience with Linux or Linux System Administration
Proven experience in developing automated tests using Python
In-depth understanding of various Quality Assurance testing methodologies, including functional and regression testing
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively report and drive bug resolution to closure
Experience working with distributed teams across multiple geographies and groups
Highly motivated and self-directed, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.
Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
