We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer for our Agawam, MA facility. Salary Range $75,000 - $91,000
Under the guidance of the Quality Manager, a Quality Engineer will drive continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing system. They will utilize corrective and preventive actions to close gaps in the QMS and ensure the flow down of quality requirements to internal customers. Additionally, they will be the voice of quality within the organization and represent Vaupell for all assigned external customers.
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent education plus work experience in a similar role. 2+ years of relevant Quality experience. ISO13485 or ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP experience highly desirable as applicable. ASQ certification is desirable. Knowledgeable in plastics processing, manufacturing is desirable. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret part drawings and standards. Excellent computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office. Ability to read, speak, understand, and follow instructions in English. Must be able to wear and properly use the required personal protective equipment. Candidates must be a ‘US Person’ (i.e., US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell’s compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations).
