Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Manage project schedules and track project deliverables to ensure timely completion. Provide inputs to and manage change requests throughout the project lifecycle. Schedule and conduct weekly Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings to facilitate project progress. Track and manage the technical aspects of the project, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations. Report project status, including technical progress, risks, and issues, to all stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components. Elaborate and manage stakeholder requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications for the engineering team. Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Engineering related field. Proven experience in aerospace engineering, specifically in the design and development of electronic products. Understanding of DO-178, DO-160, and DO-254 guidelines and other regulations for Aerospace/Defense/Automotive/Medical/Pharmaceutical. Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, tracking deliverables, and managing change requests. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to report status to stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
