Plating Operations Supervisor – Plymouth, MA

Schedule: We have both 1st and 2nd shift available. 1st shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. 2nd shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM. Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 annually (negotiable, based on experience).

About the Role

As the Plating Operations Supervisor, you will oversee a team within the Finishing Department, ensuring smooth operations, consistent product quality, and high team performance. This is a great opportunity for a strong communicator and technical problem solver who thrives in a collaborative, high-accountability environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and develop department leads and team members.
  • Assign daily tasks and priorities based on production schedules.
  • Monitor plating processes, chemistry, and equipment to maintain product quality.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to drive improvements and resolve equipment issues.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of training, performance metrics, and shift reports.
  • Champion safety practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plating or chemical finishing.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of plating chemistries, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality in a regulated environment.
