Join our Nephrology and Transplant Surgery divisions at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. We're looking for a Transplant Nephrologist who has completed a Transplant Nephrology Fellowship. Join our team of nine physicians and two advanced practitioners to provide exceptional care to patients with kidney disease and hypertension, including a large ESRD population. You'll be involved in both inpatient and outpatient care, working closely with our transplant surgery team. Excellent opportunities for career and leadership development await.

Key responsibilities include managing a diverse patient panel with kidney disease and hypertension, participating in outpatient dialysis rounding and monthly office visits for dialysis patients, contributing to busy inpatient consultative services, collaborating with transplant surgery in the close follow-up of both liver and kidney transplant patients, sharing outpatient coverage equally between divisions, attending weekly transplant meetings, and participating in a manageable call schedule with moonlighting opportunities on weekends.

Our Transplant Division is one of the largest in the greater Boston area, performing over 100 liver transplants and 50-66 kidney transplants annually. We're committed to patient care, education, and collaboration. Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is a major teaching affiliate of UMass Chan Medical School. You'll have opportunities to be actively involved in resident and medical student teaching, including student rotations and the Renal Pathophysiology course at Tufts.
