Play a role throughout the marketing cycle in positioning, messaging, and storytelling. Contribute to marketing campaigns that further the goals of Suffolk Dining. Monitor trends, feedback, and satisfaction levels of Suffolk students. Apply marketing concepts to solve organizational challenges. Provide support for in-person events. Contribute fresh ideas that can enhance the brand's standing on campus.
Support teams to plan, develop, and execute marketing initiatives. Create engaging social media content for Suffolk dining. Complete projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing. Assist management with the preparation of social media campaigns. Create eye-catching marketing material to be displayed around Suffolk University.
Must be a Suffolk University student (Junior/Senior) with an interest in Public Relations, Marketing Advertisement or Graphic Design. Curious, fast-learning, and resourceful. Organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication and presentation skills. Sense of teamwork and the ability to execute programs. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and hardworking. Knowledge in programs including: Canva, Lightroom, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
Proactive desire to go above and beyond role requirements. Basic knowledge of marketing principles and industry trends. Proven aptitude in seeking creative solutions. Ability to influence, inspire, and lead from any role.
This position is paid, but not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing. Because this position requires you to perform services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work (such as winter and summer breaks when food service needs decline or cease). Any such periods during which you do not perform work on the Company's behalf may be unpaid and deemed a temporary layoff. However, depending on business needs, you may be required to work year-round, potentially at a different location during break periods. Business needs may vary from year to year.
