Reporting to the E2E Engineering Delivery Lead (Knees), the US Engineering Delivery Lead (Knees) is responsible for leading and directing projects in relation to the Value Streams' Portfolios across the Raynham site. This includes, but not exclusive to, Capacity and New Product Introduction (Internal and External). This critical role will be accountable for the performance of the Knee Value Stream Portfolios to ensure consistency in delivery of NPI launch volumes.
Key responsibilities include managing a subset of the project portfolio within the overall Knees VS Project Portfolio with a key NPI and Capacity focus for the Raynham Campus sites, ensuring projects are run cost efficiently and deliver manufacturability and reliable products that meet original project scope. Additionally, the role involves effectively leading resource deployment across multiple priorities, working closely with the Plant Management & global VS team, and rigorously following business portfolio processes.
Organizational & talent development responsibilities include building and developing the Project Delivery team through the selection, recruitment, and development of exceptional engineering talent, and the development of core technical skills and knowledge and a focus on excellence in execution. Leadership responsibilities include setting an example of leadership in supporting solving of difficult problems and investigations, bringing structure, logic, clarity, control, and technical excellence to complex and urgent situations.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include a degree in Engineering or a related field, minimum 5 years management experience in a Senior Operations / Engineering Management / Program Management role within a multinational organization, shown experience in the development and implementation of Product Lifecycle Strategies for Life Sciences, previous portfolio and people management expertise, proficiency on industry standards, investigations/technical assessments, compliance, and validation, significant experience in a Global Matrixed Management Role within Life Sciences, and knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical industry applicable regulations, process improvement and capacity enabling methodologies, statistics, new product presentations and new product introduction, quality, and all validation requirements for process, cleaning, and packaging validation.
The ability to travel up to 10% (domestic/international) is required. Preferred qualifications include an advanced/graduate degree and PhD., MBA, MSc. or MEng. Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
