The person in this position is responsible for the configuring, repairing, and upgrading desktop & notebook computers & associated peripheral devices. Primary responsibilities include completing assigned IT work tickets accurately & timely including performing technical duties; providing input to internal & external customers & providing support & assistance by phone, in-person or all other methods Cape Air requires. Prepare new IT assets for deployment; performs initial program load & user-specific setup for standard desktop applications; troubleshoots PC hardware & software problems. Detecting & removing virus infections & implementing & enforcing hardware, software & procedural controls to prevent data corruption. Responsible for all aspects of installing PC equipment ensuring that corporate procurement standards are followed. Assist with gathering & shipping IT assets. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: CompTIA A+ Certification preferred but not required IT Support or Computer Repair experience Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity, doing network cabling & associated network jack & wallplate work. General PC / Hardware / Troubleshooting experience required Experience & knowledge with Microsoft Office Applications Must be goal oriented, have an exceptional attention to detail, & must work well both independently & in team situations.
