Opportunity Overview
PCB Technologist collaborates with Product Engineering on designs for diverse and complex products. Creates PCB stack-ups that meet product requirement and align to current PCB suppliers' capabilities. Provides support to commodity team to provide strategic direction for Teradyne's roadmap and influences the PCB Industry's roadmap. Execute PCB enabling technology projects to align with Teradyne's product roadmap. Collaborate with PCB Technologists and Product Engineers to integrate electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements that meet product requirements. Development of part specific stack ups and impedance calculations in support of Product Engineering. Supply base Gap Analysis / Needs Assessments and development of projects to close the gaps. Maintain written standard for PCB Design for Manufacturability and Product Acceptance. New laminates' qualifications procedures, and implementation (Approved Laminates for Teradyne). Integrates with the assembly DfM team to provide solutions aligning to product requirement.

Technical degree- BSEE, BSME or equivalent
3+ years in the PCB Fabrication industry or PCB Design
Excellent communication and team skills including writing technical documents.
Affinity for problem solving, for innovating.
Polar Si9000 experience is a plus.
Advanced Microsoft tools suite skills.
Knowledge of PCB process for Rigid and Flex circuits.
Logic Charts, Design of Experiments, SPC, structure problem solving method, Visio, and other skills that can contribute to the success of a project.
We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $86,700 - $138,700. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
