Assistant Director for Intensive Community Supports

The Edinburg Center is seeking an Assistant Director for our Intensive Community Supports (ICS) program, which is an innovative community-based hospital diversion/step-down program that assists persons with mental health conditions who are endeavoring to achieve stability in the community.

What You Will Do:

  • Provides direct supervision, side-by-side supervision, mentoring, support, training and to ICS staff
  • Leads in the training and support of ICS staff
  • Participates in development of staff in-service training and development
  • Interviews and hires personnel
  • Participates in the recruiting, hiring, and the use of all relief personnel
  • Takes disciplinary action as necessary according to established policies and procedures
  • Maintains personnel records according to established guidelines and timelines

Who You Are:

  • Masters degree in relevant clinical field
  • Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts required
  • Minimum of two year clinical experience working with persons diagnosed with mental illnesses required
  • Supervisory experience required
  • First Aid, CPR, and MAP certification within three months of hire required
  • Valid driver's license required
