Database Support Analyst 2
IQVIA is looking for a Database Support Analyst 2 to join a team that collects, maintains, and expands information for OneKey HCRS (Healthcare Relational Services) data. This team maps relationships among providers, healthcare delivery sites, and corporate healthcare delivery organizations. The role supports the information requirements of pharmaceutical and medical-device manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
- Support the reference database team by collecting and maintaining data from state licensing boards across multiple healthcare professions.
- Utilize IQVIA's internal tracking system and state specifications to order data files provided by state licensing boards across the US and territories.
- Maintain internal tracking system with state board specific information and process file orders from initiation to receipt of data.
- Communicate with state licensing boards by phone or email for supplementary information to ensure data can be processed accurately.
- Process accounts payable requests for orders and various expenses.
- Verify data files supplied by source contains the required data that is critical for maintenance of healthcare professional database; if incomplete, follow-up to resolve quality issues.
- Assist with investigation and research of both existing and potential data sources.
- Resolve data value checks of OneKey HCRS data of healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- An associate's/bachelor's degree in communications, business, research, a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance, knowledgeable in various research methods and excellent interpersonal skills motivated by individual initiative and commitment to teamwork.
- Ability to work independently and still connect with people—have excellent communications and telephone skills.
- Excellent computer skills are required with experience working in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with query writing in SQL is a plus.
- The ability to adapt and balance multiple priorities without compromising quality of work.
