Chargeback Management

Review, validate, and process chargeback and representment cases within defined timelines.

Ensure compliance with Visa, Mastercard, and local scheme rules.

Investigate transaction discrepancies and determine liability.

Prepare and submit dispute (s) supporting documents to card schemes or acquiring banks.

Handle customer complaints related to disputed card transactions (fraudulent, duplicate, non-receipt of goods/services, etc.).

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, and external parties (1LINK, VISA, Mastercard).

Ensure dispute cases are logged, tracked, and resolved as per SLA and regulatory requirements.

Ensure all customer complaint(s)/disputes are handled in timely and efficient manner and must closed within TAT

Coordinate with ops internal teams for dispute-related financial postings and adjustments.

Maintain and reconcile disputes/chargeback GLs accounts.

Generate daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on dispute trends, root causes, and financial impact.

Ensure timely and accurate settlement of financial transactions.

Identify and resolve discrepancies between internal records and external statements.

Verify and process transactions in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of financial records.

Collaborate with internal departments, including operations, and finance, to address dispute related issues.

Maintain proper documentation of dispute/chargeback settlement/reconciliation processes and related activities.

Identify process gaps and recommend control improvements.

Ensure adherence to Central Bank regulations, audit requirements, and compliance policies.

Support internal and external audits related to disputes and chargebacks.

Implement risk mitigation measures to prevent errors or fraud.

Coordinate with IT teams to address any system issues promptly.

Responsible for preparing and submitting all required regulatory reporting's as per deadlines.

Responsible for preparing and submitting all required card scheme(s) related reports as per deadlines

In this digital banking domain, the ideal candidate possesses a well-rounded skill set and extensive experience. Key qualifications and attributes include:

3 – 5 years of MasterCard/VISA / 1-Link Reconciliation and settlement experience with proven track record.

Preparation & Submission of Daily / Weekly / Quarterly / Annually MIS reports.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding related processing, settlement, dispute resolutions, reporting and SBP prudential regulations.

Effective time management, multi-tasking, Strong analytical and communication skills.

Candidate having good in MS Suite, especially Excel.
