Lead and manage global acquiring operations teams across multiple regions, ensuring standardization and operational excellence.
Oversee day-to-day acquiring operations, including merchant onboarding, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, and dispute/chargeback handling.
Implement and optimize processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency across all acquiring operational flows.
Drive digitization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance speed, efficiency, and accuracy in operations.
Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and dashboards to ensure performance excellence across global acquiring operations.
Should have an excellent operational knowledge of acquiring processes and should be fully familiar with Visa and Master Card guidelines and regulations.
Identify opportunities to automate and optimize digitalization, increase STP penetration by solutioning, leveraging technology and tools to drive efficiency, standardization, and effectiveness for UAE, Egypt, and Pakistan processes.
Responsible for setting up operational structure, processes, accounting, reconciliation, SOPs, OPMs, RCSA structure, etc. for Digital Bank for Pakistan.
Provide guidance in developing and maintaining procedures for product/process implementation for acquiring for all countries, adherence to compliance requirements of various schemes, adherence to product and policy requirements of the Bank.
Effective performance management of Issuing team and ensuring productivity and efficiencies are closely monitored at individual and at team level.
Act as a functional bridge between business and IT team in developing comprehensive requirements which include existing process/functions, process changes and improvements, new functionalities, review and solutioning, UAT planning and testing, post implementation system review & validation.
Understanding and analyzing the VAT requirements of regulators, work with IT, Business, and other stakeholders in design and implementation of solutions for VAT compliance.
