Credit Relationship Manager

At MashreqBank, we are looking for a talented and experienced professional to join our COE Pak-CIBG-S&M Portfolio Management & Monitoring department. As a Credit Relationship Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our corporate clients, particularly in the Manufacturing industry. Your expertise in credit proposals, trade finance, and financial analysis will be instrumental in driving our business forward. Financial qualifications are pre-requisite together with prior banking experience.

Key Result Areas

• Manage and develop relationships with corporate clients, with a focus on the Manufacturing segment.
• Prepare and structure credit proposals, ensuring they meet the required standards and guidelines.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis and assessment of client's financial health and creditworthiness.
• Advise clients on financial strategies and provide expert guidance on trade finance solutions.
• Monitor and manage client's credit facilities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with the credit team to underwrite and approve credit proposals, considering risk management principles.
• Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing our bank's capabilities and services.
• Maintain excellent communication and build trust with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, with a focus on credit relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, including cash flow statements and financial modeling.
• Experience in preparing and structuring credit proposals, with an understanding of risk assessment.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, with knowledge of macros and pivots.
• Familiarity with trade finance products and services is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail, with the ability to make sound credit decisions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A proactive and client-centric approach to relationship management.
