Junior Associate - Finance Operations (Twelve Months Fixed Term Contract)
MAS Legato is the Shared Services arm of MAS Holdings, focused on offering Finance and HR services across the organization. The time and operational efficiencies created through a shared services platform makes MAS Legato a critical component of MAS, as a future-ready organization.
Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to execute debt recovery within the set credit period of all SBUs under purview and ensure identification of discrepancies for delayed receipts and drive the corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out credit payable activities and ensure proper mechanisms are put in place to settle money within the set credit period.
- Execute recovery activities and ensure proper follow-up mechanisms are put in place to recover money within the credit period set.
- Active involvement in continuous improvement initiatives within the department, whilst suggesting and implementing same.
- Support team with audit requirements and ensure they are fulfilled to meet business demands.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Degree/Diploma in Finance/Financial accounting/Economics/CIMA, ACCA or ICASL or equivalent professional qualification
- 6 months' experience in Accounting or Financial Analysis would be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel
