This role enables the individual to ensure the availability of fabric, accessories and embellishments, monitoring the issuance of same with regard to aspects such as quantity, quality and on-time delivery whilst, addressing issues, bottlenecks including those in areas such as SAP, Brand Protection, Finished Goods and Stores thereby, facilitating uninterrupted operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in weekly planning meetings to ensure all required raw materials and accessories are available to execute the frozen production plan.
  • Make necessary amendments to the plan considering delivery dates, operational efficiencies, sold hour targets, and production realities.
  • Follow up on weekly RM availability using the RM Stability Report and address deviations with relevant stakeholders.
  • Review the RM Pull Plan to ensure timely calling out of materials for the daily cut plan, maintaining Days-to-Deliver (DTD) within stipulated levels.
  • Evaluate root causes affecting Planned to Produce (PTP) progress and implement corrective actions to support PTP achievement.
  • Monitor RM optimization, ensuring maximum material utilization by coordinating with cutting and business teams.
  • Verify embellishment or special requirements for planned styles.
  • Coordinate with embellishment teams to secure capacity and monitor both loading and output plans to ensure smooth input flow to production.
  • Review the monthly shipment schedule to ensure achievement of sales targets.
  • In case of deviations, coordinate shipment advances and update relevant departments accordingly.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, compliance standards, health & safety protocols, and 5S practices.
  • Lead and participate in Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) initiatives such as PDCA, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement projects.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Degree in Physical Science
  • 1 - 2 years of work experience in a similar capacity
  • Good Knowledge of SAP
  • Good communication and leadership skills
