Associate - Finance Operations - OTC

MAS Legato is the Shared Services arm of MAS Holdings, focused on offering Finance and HR services across the organization. The time and operational efficiencies created through a shared services platform makes MAS Legato a critical component of MAS, as a future-ready organization.

We are seeking for an individual to execute debt recovery activities and implement proper follow-up mechanisms to recover money within the set credit period while supervising all SBUs under purview to ensure identification of discrepancies for delayed receipts and drive the corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • On time and accurate debtor follow-up to ensure timely debtor collection by the due date (3rd party customers, including all payment types).
  • Document Submission Follow up with Logistics teams of the respective Business Units.
  • Prepare, participate and action on Reviews held by Corporate & Business Units.
  • Provide timely feedback for management reporting purposes and Timely posting & clearance of customer receipts.
  • Checking Non - billing for Group in order to make sure all revenue related billing has been captured in a timely manner (Sub-Contracts,3rd party, and other delivery related).
  • Ensure timely and quality completion of Interim & year-end audit timelines issued by Group Finance.
  • Ensure Debtor Impairment is carried out as per the guideline provided by the Group Accounting Policy.
  • Assist team members with workload during periods of high volume or absence in order to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Support to complete the Interim & year end audit according to the timeline issued by group finance and maintain the quality of the audit.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Degree in Finance / Financial accounting/ Economics / CIMA, ACCA or ICASL or equivalent professional qualification
  • 1.5 to 3 years of relevant experience
