Assistant ‐ Benefits Administration ‐ Service Delivery

MAS Legato is the Shared Services arm of MAS Holdings, focused on offering Finance and HR services across the organization. The time and operational efficiencies created through a shared services platform makes MAS Legato a critical component of MAS, as a future-ready organization. We are seeking for an individual to ensure all operational activities related to the Benefits Administration Service Delivery Team for Legato HR Operations, both locally and internationally are driven and implemented in a timely and effective manner based on SLAs/KPIs, whilst contributing towards identifying / executing process improvement opportunities, driving and achieving a performance driven culture through all internal & external stakeholders, thereby attaining a high level of stakeholder satisfaction, meeting business and operations excellence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the overall achievement of the following areas within set standards under the Benefits Administration- Service Delivery function within the Legato HR Operations for MAS, by processing, activating or deactivating employee statutory and non-statutory benefits.
  • Execute all activations and deactivations of benefits in a timely and accurate manner, in order to maintain compliance for local & global entities.
  • Liaise/coordinate with the insurance providers and ensure that the required service is provided as per organizational standards and by adhering to the insurance provider's requirements and engaging in negotiations as and when required.
  • Execute the claim management process for employees, ensuring claims are submitted to the respective service providers and processed in a timely manner, whilst also attending to complaints and queries related to employee claims whilst escalating same as required.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for the need of innovative solutions/services concerning welfare/engagement activities and other, in order to be able to source the most cost-effective and beneficial solution/service for the organization.
  • Maintain timely and updated Insurance policies and fulfil all tasks relating to the medical insurance scheme throughout the required period.
  • Drive a highly efficient and customer-focused insurance process, whilst liaising with relevant parties and proactively resolving relevant issues.
  • Ensure timely, accurate and seamless execution of tasks related to Benefits Administration Service Delivery areas, whilst updating required documents and records as per specified Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for accuracy and maintenance of an efficient process.
  • Ensure to complete all pre audit measures, whilst implementing post audit findings, based on the audit tool, in a timely and effective manner in relation to all internal/external/client SBU audits, thereby maintaining /exceeding the required audit score
  • Support the Manager/Assistant Manager – Benefits Administration - Service Delivery in driving identified value projects under the team, ensuring necessary operational activities are carried out by collaborating with required internal / external parties, ensuring timely execution and achievement project deliverables.
  • Ensure a high and consistent level of client SBU satisfaction with relevant internal/external parties, effectively engaging and providing continuous and timely support whilst maintaining quality standards.
  • Identify potential process improvement opportunities and take necessary action to implement same in order to improve the productivity and efficiency of the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree/Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • 0 - 1 years' experience in HR Operations
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Excellent communication/presentation/interpersonal/relationship management skills.
