Medstar Hospitals Windows 11 Deployment Project Technician

This is a refresh/Windows 11 deployment project for MedStar hospitals. The technician will assist with upgrading, replacing, and configuring PC devices. Additionally, you will support peripherals for scanning paper and ID cards, barcode scanners, credit card readers, label printers, signature pads, Dragon dictation microphones, and RFID readers. Your duties will include conducting data migration and backups, user account creation, Windows settings configuration for PCs, and managing iOS devices. You will implement automated email archiving and retention policies in Microsoft Exchange.

Incidents – Software break/fix

IMACs – Installation of software, machine upgrades, etc.

Basic experience with Active Directory

Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office

Experience with deskside support in a hospital environment a plus

Experience with ServiceNow – preferred not required

Experience with LogMeIn

Ticketing System is ServiceNow

Tech walk-up bar at staffed locations

Our requirements for coverage:

• Monday-Friday 6am-10pm (either a 6 AM to 3 PM or 2 PM to 10 PM)

Job Type & Location: This is a contract position based out of Leonardtown, MD.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
