Assist in the design and analysis of water and wastewater treatment processes and mechanical systems.
Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for pumping stations, treatment facilities, and related infrastructure.
Perform hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing.
Support senior engineers in project development, permitting, and construction administration.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
0-4 years of relevant experience
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and fluid dynamics.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit or other modeling software is a plus.
Relevant internship experience required for new graduates
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others
Passing grade on the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam or EIT preferred
