Validation Engineer II

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Validation Engineer II to support the qualification and validation of laboratory equipment, with a strong emphasis on sanitization processes. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality systems in a GMP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Execute validation protocols for laboratory equipment.
• Lead and support sanitization validation activities, including cleaning procedures and verification.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of validation activities, deviations, and change controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Facilities, and Laboratory Operations.
• Analyze data and prepare comprehensive validation reports.
• Support audits and inspections by providing validation documentation and expertise.

Essential Skills:

• Strong experience with sanitization.
• Ability to organize and document processes effectively.
• Detail-oriented approach.
• Experience in process validation.
• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments.

The role is based in a laboratory environment.

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract position based out of Silver Spring, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $57.69/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
