Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is currently looking for a Systems Engineer to join the Precision Navigation (PNav) Systems and Software Department for Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) solutions for air defense, air control, and self-protection missions in airborne and ground applications. The Systems Engineering Test team is involved in all aspects of Systems Design and Integration, Verification, and Validation (IV&V). This team, based at Aberdeen Proving Ground, is responsible for supporting backend system engineering on multiple IFF product lines.
• Integrate hardware and software into IFF systems, evaluating their functionality and impact
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation and perform/execute the testing
• Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging
• Develop test documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality
• Travel less than 20% to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations
• Experience generating and delivering technical documentation to stakeholders, including creating, reviewing, and updating test artifacts
• Basic knowledge of radio, radar or secondary radar systems
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
