Checkmarx is the leader in application security and ensures that enterprises worldwide can secure their application development from code to cloud. We're looking for experienced Solution Engineers to join our team! This is an exciting role that straddles the line of being technically focused and business savvy. The preferred candidate will be based on the East Coast, with a strong preference for those located in the Baltimore or Richmond areas. To succeed, you need at least one year of SaaS Pre Sales experience and one year of Application Security experience. Federal Government Pre Sales experience is highly preferred. You should be familiar with multiple programming languages and/or scripting languages, knowledgeable of the SDLC phases with a concentration in Development and Security Testing, and experienced with Application Security. You should be proactive, able to present product-specific demonstrations, and communicate complex concepts in a clear and professional manner. You should thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments while working on a team and align yourself with a company's goal to contribute in a significant way. You will need to travel within the region as and when needed.

We offer a competitive salary range of OTE $200,000 to $210,000, medical, dental, vision, 401(K), and additional incentives.
