Software Engineer Intern - Summer 2026

As a software engineering intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on our HighVIEW product development team that develops and maintains a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) product for enterprise content management. The HighVIEW software is used in a variety of mission-critical solutions. You will be heavily involved in the planning, design, and development of the next generation of the HighVIEW product. Additionally, you will design and develop solutions for HighVIEW capabilities (i.e., Workflow, web-based Redaction tool, RESTful services, Oracle23aidatabase features) in the HighVIEW product. Your responsibilities will include implementing product solutions to meet both customer-stated requirements as well as capabilities in the HighVIEW product that can be leveraged by all HighVIEW customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on a team developing and maintaining a COTS product.
  • Follow configuration management workflows.
  • Support integration testing.
  • Collaborate with the development team to maintain and enhance a COTS product for enterprise content management.
  • Contribute to user interface (UI) development using JavaScript, Angular2, and TypeScript.
  • Engage in testing activities.
  • Adopt Agile software development practices.
  • Apply object-oriented programming principles in your work.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Must currently be a full-time undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate student. Familiarity with the software development life cycle.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Desired: Pursuing a degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field (preferred, not required). Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher (preferred, not required). Strong teamwork capabilities. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Active participation in professional, community, or extracurricular activities.
